Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Manager of the Technical Solutions Engineering (TSE) team to grow and inspire a group responsible for the success of developers and our largest users integrating with Stripe's platform and products. You will define and deliver a comprehensive technical support experience, develop long-term strategy, and recruit and coach engineers.

The role requires coordinating across Stripe and managing a team across APAC regions with US-based leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, managing and developing user-facing engineering teams.
• Background in software development in one or more programming languages.
• Immediate team in Asia-Pacific with US-based management; requires overlap with APAC hours across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a comprehensive technical leadership strategy for the TSE team.
• Develop long-term vision and day-to-day operations for the TSE team.
• Build relationships across Stripe to improve developer experience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance self-serve and impactful developer experience.
• Recruit, coach, and develop user-facing engineers.
• Inspire and enable career growth within the team.
• Define and monitor metrics for sustainability and quality of developer support.
