Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise software solutions supporting program objectives.
  • Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Support enhancement and sustainment of enterprise knowledge management and collaboration capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and implement timely resolutions.
  • Participate in system testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting system development and operations.
  • Collaborate with Government personnel and multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-focused capabilities.
  • Support modernization, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions comply with applicable security requirements, organizational policies, and established development standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract objectives.

Overview

Kentro is seeking an experienced Developer to support a large-scale Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) program for U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at Jacksonville, NC.

The Developer designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains enterprise software solutions that support knowledge management, collaboration, and mission operations across the Special Operations enterprise. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Developer partners with Government stakeholders and technical personnel to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused capabilities that enhance information sharing, business processes, and organizational effectiveness.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and sustainment of enterprise solutions while supporting evolving mission requirements in a dynamic operational environment.

Location: Onsite at Camp Lejeune Jacksonville, NC

Responsibilities

Qualifications
Must Haves
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, military service, and professional experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, or maintaining enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within technical teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Combatant Command, Service Component, Special Operations, Joint, or other complex federal environments.
  • Experience supporting Knowledge Management, Information Management, Digital Modernization, or related mission support initiatives.
  • Experience working with enterprise collaboration or information-sharing environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other iterative software development methodologies.
  • Relevant technical or professional certifications.
