Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator in Harper Woods, MI to prepare accurate cost estimates for diverse construction projects. You will analyze drawings and specifications, collaborate with teams, and develop bid proposals while supporting budgets throughout execution.

The role includes a base salary of $100,000–$110,000 with a performance bonus up to 10% and a robust benefits package. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects across various sectors.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and RFPs to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Develop detailed bid proposals and maintain organized records of estimates.
• Monitor project budgets and provide cost-tracking support during project execution.
