Job description

The Role:

The Developer, AI Solutions builds and maintains governed AI capabilities on approved enterprise platforms. This hands‑on individual contributor translates approved business use cases into safe, responsible, and measurable technical solutions. Success requires strong development, integration, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. This is a full time, remote role, based in the United States, reporting to the Director of AI.

Responsibilities:

• Build, configure, test, version, release and improve governed AI agents, workflows, prompts, retrieval, approved data sources and supporting automation. Translate approved business use cases into technical solution designs with clear assumptions, effort estimates, risks, and success criteria.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations, APIs, webhooks, and data connections with platform, data, application, and Security owners.
• Support technical onboarding of business teams onto newly built agents, workflows, or reusable AI solutions.
• Diagnose and address Tier 3 technical issues involving retrieval quality, indexing anomalies, workflow failures, agent failures, integration defects, permission-model behavior, and advanced configuration problems
• Perform root‑cause analysis on recurring technical issues and implement durable fixes rather than repeated workarounds
• Author technical reproduction cases for vendor escalations and engage with vendor engineering on complex defects when needed
• Produce reliability, quality, usage, and consumption telemetry for deployed AI capabilities
• Document technical designs, integrations, agent and workflow definitions, and technical runbooks used by the broader AI function
• Support technical evaluation of new vendor capabilities and changes, including compatibility, risk, governance, safety, and implementation considerations
• Apply established standards for ethical and responsible AI use in the technical design and operation of agents, workflows, prompts, and integrations, as well as 11:11's Secure Development Policy
• Partner with cross‑functional teams on shared dependencies without assuming their operational ownership
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical AI patterns, reusable components, capability quality, and governance‑aligned implementation practices across the company
• Evaluate and support in‑scope AI capabilities embedded in other enterprise systems when technical integration or controls are required
• Support advanced technical enablement for power users and builder‑track audiences
• Escalate policy, standards, architecture, prioritization, and vendor‑commercial matters to the Director of AI.
• Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
• Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
• Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or university degree in related Information Technology field, or equivalent years of related work experience required
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in application development, enterprise platform configuration, automation, integrations, business systems, or related technical role
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience building with enterprise AI tools, agents, workflows, or comparable AI platform capabilities in a business environment.
• Working proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting language.
• Practical experience with REST APIs, authentication, webhooks, and JSON or similar structured data.
• Understanding of enterprise search and retrieval concepts including indexing, ranking, permissions‑aware retrieval, grounding, and relevance tuning.
• Demonstrated skill in prompt and instruction design, including structured testing and iterative improvement.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS or search platforms, including Glean, and identity and access models such as SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and group‑based permissions
• Familiarity with common AI risks including hallucination, prompt injection, over‑permissioning, data leakage, and appropriate mitigations
• Ability to write clear technical documentation for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience with coding agents like Claude Code or Codex, AI workflow or evaluation tools, Cloud AI services, or Bedrock preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in United States without visa sponsorship

Compensation and Benefits at 11:11 Systems

The base salary for this role ranges from $ 112,000 to $ 126,000.

These ranges are informed by market data, internal equity, and qualifications required by job level. Actual pay is based on multiple factors, including skills, experience, certifications, and location.

Individuals may also be eligible for variable incentives such as bonuses or sales commissions, which are also based on level and position within the organization. Additional company‑sponsored benefits include, but are not limited to.
