Job summary

Datadog is seeking a seasoned Platform/DevOps engineer who can bridge engineering, advocacy, and product teams. You will own incident response practices, run on-call workflows, and help demonstrate and communicate our platform across demos, blogs, and presentations.

You bring 5+ years in Platform/SRE/DevOps, plus 2+ years creating technical content and public speaking. You should be comfortable with APIs, scripting (Node.js, Python, Go), and modern cloud/container concepts, and you will

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Software Developer with hands-on on-call/incident responder experience

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for service management and incident response across Datadog advocacy and engineering teams
• Create content across demos, public speaking, blogging, documentation, webinars, and open source
• Partner with product engineering to build demos and coach internal teams on communication
• Interface with open source communities to drive key messaging and integrations
• Contribute to product through feedback, documentation, or code
