Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering.
• Experience with renewable integration and grid interconnects.
• Proficient in power simulation and modeling tools.
• Excellent communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and model integrated energy systems with solar, wind, batteries, and conventional generation to support grid and data center loads.
• Develop interconnect strategies for safe, reliable connections between renewables, storage, and grid infrastructure.
• Perform power flow, protection coordination, and stability studies using industry tools.
• Support microgrid, islanding, and backup power designs for mission-critical facilities.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and software engineers for multidisciplinary integration.
• Evaluate interconnection standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant designs.
• Engage with utilities, ISOs, and project developers to secure interconnection approvals.
• Prepare technical documentation including one-line diagrams, load studies, interconnect applications, and PPAs.
