Willamette Family Inc. seeks a dedicated Support Staff Specialist for the Withdrawal Management program at our Buckley location. The role emphasizes on-site involvement, administrative support, and direct resident assistance in a structured, compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• HS/ GED Completion.
• Understanding of substance use disorders.
• Ability to interact respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Competency in understanding substance abuse treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage Telephone Reception: Answer incoming calls, direct calls, take messages, provide program information.
• Perform General Office Tasks: Copying, faxing, help with forms.
• Provide Administrative Support: Assist counselors with office duties.
• Ensure Confidentiality & Compliance: Adhere to 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA.
• Transport Residents: Drive residents to appointments as needed.
• Support Resident Well-Being: Direct support, crisis intervention, de-escalation.
• Conduct Drug Screening: Collect urine analysis samples.
• Communicate Resident Updates: Notify supervisors and management of critical information.
• Monitor Facility Rules: Enforce curfews, bedtimes, bed checks, visits.
• Maintain Documentation: Daily logs and records.
• Assist with Additional Duties: Other tasks by Program Manager/Director.
