Milestone Recovery, located in Portland, ME, is seeking a Detox Attendant to assist the Detox staff in implementing patient health care and supporting the Medically Monitored Withdrawal Unit. The role will also be cross-trained in our 28-day Residential Program.

You will observe patient health, document findings, and help maintain the Detox unit daily schedule and sanitation while working as a team. A HS diploma or GED is required, with one year of related substance use/mental illness experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience related to chronic substance use and mental illness is highly desired.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff in implementing health treatment plans under supervision.
• Observe patient health and report adverse findings to staff nurse.
• Support Detox unit operations, daily schedule, sanitation, and inter-department collaboration.
