Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail abilities.
• Basic knowledge of substance-use disorders.
• Ability to demonstrate self-awareness and professional boundaries.
• Understanding of mental health disorder symptoms is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with care of patients withdrawing from drugs and alcohol, including potential nighttime shifts.
• Support medical provider with triage, admission, and discharge processes.
• Assist with transition of withdrawal patients to other programs with residents and staff.
• Conduct screenings and documentation to track potential patients.
• Perform thorough searches and inventory patients' belongings as needed.
• Provide direct patient care and monitor medical symptoms and behavioral changes.
• Collaborate with treatment team and follow milieu guidelines; ensure privacy and confidentiality.
