Job summary

Highland Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Night shift in the Detox unit. The LPN will oversee the nursing team, provide direct patient care, and participate in planning and evaluating care to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• Two or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility required.
• One or more years' experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to an assigned group of patients.
• Supervises care and services provided by other nursing staff to assure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and unit operations.
• Monitors patient acuity, census, staffing needs, and coordinates coverage.
