Job summary

Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse to provide service at a substance abuse clinic in the Middletown, CT area. The RN will perform triage, evaluate medical and psychiatric status, determine withdrawal management needs, and administer medications per physician orders, while coordinating with the pharmacy.

Shifts available include 2nd and 3rd, with pay at $52+ per hour. You will maintain medical records, communicate with health providers, and ensure thorough documentation;

Qualifications

• CT RN certification required.
• Experience with adults facing substance abuse.
• Must obtain FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal clearances.
• Current medical documents including physical, TB test, CPR and First Aid are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage services and evaluate medical/psychiatric status at admission criteria.

Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide service at a substance abuse clinic in the Middletown, CT area.

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS

• 2nd & 3rd Shifts needed
• $52+/hr

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Provide triage services (evaluate medical and psychiatric status based on admission criteria)
• Determine level of withdrawal management needed
• Administer and monitor individuals' medical needs in accordance with orders by prescribing physicians
• Order, transcribe, and reconcile medications per MD order as needed
• Communicate with pharmacy as needed
• Maintain ongoing relationships with other health care providers to provide consistency of prescribed treatment procedures and techniques
• Maintain medical records and oversee thorough documentation

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• CT RN certification
• Experience working with adults who have challenges with substance abuse
• Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid
