SCADD, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care in a substance abuse detox facility in New London, CT. You will administer detox protocols, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and guide clients toward recovery.

The role requires an ADN or equivalent, CT RN licensure, and CPR certification. You will work a 40-hour 2nd shift with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a supportive environment focused on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Current State of Connecticut RN license or eligibility
• CPR Certification required
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care and administer detox protocols to clients
• Coordinate care with the Nurse Manager and multidisciplinary team
• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments and document findings
• Admit clients and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
• Supervise nursing care and provide direct physical care as needed
• Execute prescribed medical regimens and educate clients/families
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff
• Assist in coordination of post-discharge care
