Job summary

Trailboss Enterprises Inc. seeks a Detention/Transportation Lieutenant to supervise officers during shifts and ensure safety, security, and order for detainees and staff. The role may include performing officer duties as needed and ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to policies.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma or GED, two years of detention supervision experience, and a valid Class B CDL with endorsements.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have at least two years’ experience as a detention supervisor; or two years’ experience as a Corrections Transport Supervisor.
• Must have and maintain a current/ valid Class B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements.
• Must pass a background investigation and obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Detention/Transportation Officers during a scheduled shift.
• Perform Detention/Transportation Officer duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations for bus/van drivers.
• Escort detainees to/from inbound/outbound flights and verify aircraft departure.
• Prepare disciplinary reports and forward for adjudication.
• Maintain safety and security of detainees and staff at all times.
