GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a Sr. Transportation Officer to lead high-risk detainee movements under federal contracts. A CDL Class B with passenger endorsement, firearms license, and state security credentials are required.

You will oversee vehicle safety, DOT compliance, and reporting while supporting management on complex situations. The role demands leadership, flexibility for extended hours, and travel with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL Class B with passenger endorsement and valid firearms license.
• Minimum 3 years in law enforcement, including 2 years in supervision or GEO supervision training.
• State licenses and training certifications must be current at hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation operations for high-risk detainee movements.
• Ensure DOT compliance, vehicle safety checks, and proper reporting.
• Coordinate with Transportation Manager and conduct staff interviews when needed.
• Maintain required permits, licenses, and safety equipment for all assigned vehicles.
• Travel and overnight stays may be required; work extended hours as needed.
