LaSalle’s Transport, LLC. is seeking an on-site Transportation Officer at Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, TX.

This full-time position requires performing pre- and post-trip inspections, documenting DVIRs, and ensuring inmate transfer paperwork complies with LaSalle’s policies. Candidates must be 23+, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR; CDL is preferred with Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse (DOT) compliance.

Mansioni

• Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections on all vehicles.
• Provides written Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) post trip or shift.
• Ensures all necessary paperwork for transfer of inmates/detainees.
• Provide custody safety and security of offenders/detainees.
• Read, review inmate records related to health, safety and security.
• Obey traffic laws, drive safely and wear safety belts.
• Ensure sanitation of transport vehicles and maintain logs.
• Promote positive social skills and model appropriate behavior.
• Maintain accountability of staff, inmates, and property.
• Perform other duties as assigned within management's guidance.
• Comply with Federal, State, FMCSA Regulations and DOT Regulations.
