Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear MVR for three years.
• CDL preferred, with Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse - DOT required.
• Maintain required state and federal licenses per contracts.
• Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide DVIR reports post trip or shift and report safety defects.
• Ensure paperwork for inmate transfers complies with policies.
• Provide custody safety and security during transfers of detainees.
• Drive facility vehicles safely and in accordance with laws and policies.
• Maintain sanitation of transport vehicles and logs.
