Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or G.E.D.
• Written test, oral interview, criminal background check, and general fitness evaluation.
• Tests and fitness evaluation must be completed and passed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises custody and activities of inmates, enforcing facility rules and maintaining order.
• Oversees inmate intake to ensure fingerprinting, mug photos, hygiene and clothing compliance.
• Ensures proper inmate classification for housing and assimilation.
• Monitors recreational, educational, hygienic, nourishment and social activities.
