Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of progressive compliance or operations management experience within a federal, state, or private secure detention environment.
• Ability to pass a rigorous background investigation and obtain government client suitability.
• Strong analytical skills with a history of leading successful audit preparations and corrective action.
• Excellent written communication skills for government stakeholders.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration, public policy, or a related field; equivalent operational experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to federal detention standards, contractual mandates, and facility policy.
• Maintain, update, and enforce local SOPs to align with client specifications and evolving federal regulations.
• Identify non-compliance issues, draft CAPs, and oversee remediation with department heads.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for external inspections, third-party audits, and client reviews.
• Track, analyze, and report KPIs and compliance metrics to executives and government contracting officers.
• Manage incident reporting workflows, ensuring timely documentation and investigations of regulatory or procedural exceptions.
• Collaborate with staff development to ensure mandatory compliance and safety training for operational staff.
