The GEO Group Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking a transport professional to securely move detainees between destinations and maintain safe, well-maintained vehicles. You will complete DVIRs, ensure proper paperwork, and uphold safety standards across all shifts.

Applicants should hold a CDL with Passenger endorsement, be at least 21, and pass DOT drug/alcohol testing. The role requires frequent travel and overtime as part of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL Class B or C with Passenger endorsement within 90 days of appointment.
• 80 hours of verified driver training from an approved trainer.
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military.
• Current driver’s license with clean record (no major violations).
• Passing a company and DOT drug & alcohol test.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays.
• Ability to work overtime frequently.
• Ability to report to work on time and stay alert on shift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure permits and licenses are in order before trips.
• Ensure necessary safety equipment is present before trips.
• Complete required paperwork and reports accurately.
• Secure detainees before leaving facilities and during transport.
• Follow all safety laws and policies during transport.
• Notify safety authorities and management in case of accidents.
