Job summary

Nucor Corporation in Belvidere, IL is seeking a Detail ing Project Manager with Rebar and/or Construction experience to oversee complex projects from estimating to completion. You will coordinate detailing teams, products, and vendors, while maximizing profitability and maintaining exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include contract and change order management, safety compliance, and collaboration with contractors, engineers, and architects to ensure on-time delivery and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated construction project management experience or experience as a rebar detailer.
• Ability to apply ACI codes and CRSI standards.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• At least three years of experience overseeing detailers.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents/drawings and coordinate detailing efforts to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide total contract management of each project, including detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs.
• Coordinate project requirements with contractor's representative, rebar installer, engineer and architect.
• Schedule detailing and delivery with contractor, detailers and production staff.
• Manage changes and process change orders per company procedures.
• Formulate reports on work progress, costs and scheduling.
