Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest is seeking a senior detailing manager in Kansas City, MO. You will lead a professional team of detailers, project managers, and support staff, coordinating with Sales to secure profitable projects and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities include optimizing detailing workloads, managing change orders, and mentoring staff while aligning with CRSI standards and corporate goals. Must be willing to travel and drive continuous improvement across units.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the metal building or rebar fabrication industry.
• Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a professional team of detailers, project managers, and support staff.
• Collaborate with Sales and other departments to provide technical and value-add support.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers, builders, and contractors.
• Oversee detailing workload, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Forecast backlog and plan capacity; manage inventory and detailing throughput.
