Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southeast in Lexington, NC is seeking an experienced detailer to join our growing shop. You will detail large rebar projects using RebarCAD and coordinate with A/E and field teams to ensure accurate material delivery and fabrication schedules.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety programs, quality detailing, and proactive communication to manage changes and contract requirements across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting from an accredited school or college.
• At least six years of experience detailing rebar using a CAD-based detailing system.

Responsibilities

• Detail and coordinate complex rebar projects using RebarCAD.
• Enter all drawings for submission in the drawing tracking system.
• Verify drawings, dates, specifications, and addenda against routing sheets and business system.
• Work with job site personnel to determine detailing requirements and material delivery needs.
• Prepare material lists and change-order documentation when required.
