Job summary

Integrated Openings Solutions, LLC (IOS) is seeking a Division 8 Detailer for on-site work in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role focuses on detailing, submittals, and coordination of door, frame, and hardware packages for commercial construction projects, including large multifamily and hospitality developments.

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of direct commercial Division 8 detailing experience, strong technical knowledge, and exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of direct commercial Division 8 detailing experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial door hardware, hollow metal doors and frames.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, door schedules, hardware sets, elevations, and details.

Responsibilities

• Detail door, frame, and hardware packages for projects ranging from tenant improvements to large commercial developments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, specifications, door schedules, hardware sets, and contract documents.
• Prepare complete Division 8 submittals including door and frame schedules, hardware schedules, data, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate questions and RFIs with Project Managers, contractors, architects, and manufacturers.
• Attend job sites and coordination meetings as requested.
• Use Comsense Opening Suite and other software to complete detailing and revisions.
