Turner Construction Company seeks a division 8 detailer to provide door and hardware schedules, coordinate openings per contract documents, and ensure local code compliance. You will prepare submittals, cutsheets, and RFIs, ensuring products meet regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include detailing quantities, preparing elevations/sections, and supporting project teams with accurate shop drawings and timely submittals across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 1 year of related experience or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an estimating background.
• Proficiency in software for hardware is preferred but not required.
• Able to use Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in blueprint/plan reading and specification interpretation.
• Detail‑oriented, deadline‑conscious, and goal‑driven.

Responsibilities

• Review sales sheets and job requirements to ensure quantity estimates and price extensions are accurate.
• Analyze contract documents to detail opening quantities for projects.
• Detail and schedule materials, verify costs, and optimize product selection.
• Record and compare costs during scheduling against estimates.
• Prepare shop drawings, schedules, and submittals using manufacturer cuts.
• Create drawings for elevations and sections using company software.
• Ensure project specifications meet local code requirements.
• Document notes for issues or verifications with GC or architect during submittals.
• Review schedules and submittals for errors before approval.
• Manage updates and resubmissions of submittals post‑approval or prepare for orders.
• Perform other duties as directed by PM or location manager.
