Turner Construction Company seeks a division 8 detailer to prepare detailed door and hardware schedules, coordinate opening requirements, and ensure local code compliance. You will prepare submittals, cutsheets, and RFIs, ensuring products meet codes.

Responsibilities include reviewing contract documents, detailing openings, preparing drawings, and managing submittals through PM or site management. Strong math and blueprint-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with deadline focus.
• Proficient in blueprint/plan reading and interpretation.
• Experience with construction estimating is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review sales sheets and job requirements for accurate quantities and pricing.
• Detail and schedule opening quantities and materials for projects.
• Prepare shop drawings and submittals using catalog cuts.
• Create elevations and sections with company software.
• Ensure compliance with local codes in drawings and specs.
• Record notes for issues or verifications during submittals.
• Coordinate submittals updates and resubmissions with PM or location manager.
• Support ordering process and project needs as directed.
