Job summary

Defined Fitness is seeking a Detail Team Member to uphold the highest level of facility cleanliness and safety at our Rio Rancho location. You will perform custodial duties, interact with staff and members, and contribute to a welcoming gym environment.

The role requires reliability, the ability to work any day including holidays, and CPR/AED certification within 45 days. Compensation ranges from $12.00 to $14.00 hourly, with full-time status.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on cleanliness and safety.
• Able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
• PC literate and able to perform basic report-writing.
• CPR/AED certification required within first 45 days of employment.
• Experience in custodial or janitorial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Detail, clean, and disinfect all club areas, including walkways and parking lot.
• Perform routine walkthroughs: trash removal, locker room cleaning, equipment re-racking.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Communicate politely and respectfully with all team members.
• Maintain an organized facility for members to use.
• Assist with large projects under supervision (e.g., painting).

The Detail Team Member ensures the highest level of facility cleanliness and safety through proactive monitoring and completion of assigned custodial tasks. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Detail, clean, and disinfect all internal and external areas of the club, including walkways and the parking lot.

• Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be available and able to work any day of the week (including holidays).
• PC literate, including basic report-writing skills.
• Must obtain and maintain valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a similar position or in janitorial services preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
