Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc in Albuquerque invites a Greet Team Member to join our full‑time staff. You are the first smile guests see, delivering outstanding service while supporting club operations and sales goals.

Role requires friendly, energetic, and professional communication, cash handling, and the ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. You will tour guests, process transactions, and maintain a clean, welcoming facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a customer service-oriented position.
• Minimum of one year cash handling experience.
• Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products, such as ABC and GymSales.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner.
• Verify membership status and respond accordingly to questions, concerns, etc.
• Work with Greet Team Manager to achieve club sales goals.
• Answer and/or direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Conduct periodic club walks to ensure a clean and safe facility.
• Accurately process money transactions.
• Place calls to prospective members regarding new promotions.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace.
• Communicate all club concerns and member inquiries to management daily.
• Provide tours for prospective members.

The Greet Team Member is the first point of contact for members, potential members, vendors and anyone entering or calling the facility. Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service-oriented position
• Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience
• Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products, such as ABC and GymSales
• Valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment and maintain throughout employment
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
