Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Detail Team Member for a full-time on-site role. You will clean, disinfect, and maintain high standards of facility cleanliness and safety, including locker rooms, walkways, and equipment, while delivering courteous customer service.

The position requires independence, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced gym environment. CPR/AED certification within 45 days and availability on holidays are preferred; gym and staff

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be available and able to work any day of the week (including holidays).
• PC literate, including basic report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Detail, clean, and disinfect all internal and external areas of the club, including walkways and the parking lot.
• Conduct routine walkthroughs, trash removal, locker room cleaning, and re-racking weights.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned by management.
• Communicate politely and respectfully with all team members.
• Maintain an organized facility for members to utilize.
• Assist with large projects under supervision (e.g., painting).

The Detail Team Member ensures the highest level of facility cleanliness and safety through proactive monitoring and completion of assigned custodial tasks. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a similar position or in janitorial services preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
