Job summary

THE MAREK GROUP in Sussex, WI is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk under supervision of the Logistics Supervisor to receive, store and transport materials across shipping, receiving and bindery. The role requires accuracy in inventory records, safe material handling, and coordination with production schedules.

You will verify materials against purchase orders, maintain inventory records, operate a forklift, load and unload trucks, and support daily logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Requires basic computer use for inventory updates and shipping documentation.
• Experience with shipping/receiving processes is preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet wrapper and forklift is required or can be certified.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials received against purchase requisitions and enter into inventory system.
• Release material to production area.
• Read job tickets to determine material needs and locations.
• Transport materials using forklift or hand truck.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct periodic counts.
• Prepare shipments and loading/unloading at docks.
• Maintain neat and safe warehouse and follow safety rules.
• Back-up supervision duties as needed and coordinate deliveries.
