Job summary

Rotork is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our Rochester team. You will manage all aspects of shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining professional communication with carriers, clients, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in shipping/logistics, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with shipping management systems and MS Office. International shipping experience is a plus. This is an on-site role in Rochester, NY.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or related role.
• Experience with shipping documentation and bills of lading.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments with timely delivery.
• Prepare shipping docs: bills of lading, packing slips, labels.
• Track shipments and provide customers with updates.
• Communicate with carriers and vendors to arrange pickups and rates.
• Maintain records of shipments, inventory, and costs.
• Verify contents, weights, dimensions per carrier requirements.
• Identify and resolve shipping issues and complaints promptly.
• Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on delays.
• Organize shipping supplies and equipment.
• Analyze shipping data for process improvements and cost savings.
