Job summary

Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation in Broadway, VA is seeking a Payroll / Time & Attendance Clerk to support accurate payroll and timekeeping for hourly team members. The role collaborates with supervisors, HR, and Payroll to review time records and correct discrepancies.

The position requires high accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and professionalism, with the ability to meet payroll deadlines. SAP and MS Office proficiency are preferred, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with SAP or electronic payroll systems preferred.
• Experience in payroll, timekeeping, HR, administrative, or data-entry preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain confidential employee information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute time reports for supervisor review.
• Review timekeeping records for discrepancies.
• Enter approved timekeeping corrections into SAP and/or timekeeping systems.
• Enter hours for hourly team members when punches are unavailable.
• Resolve time and attendance discrepancies with supervision.
• Maintain payroll records for Live Haul crews and other departments.
• Enter payroll deductions as required.
• Assist employees and supervisors with payroll questions.
• Maintain documentation for payroll adjustments and approvals.
• Monitor information accuracy and escalate unresolved issues.
• Provide backup support for payroll functions and Time & Attendance Coordinator.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing and related duties.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and adhere to policies.
