IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure every linen and guest item is washed, dried, and folded to perfection. The role is physically demanding, requiring you to stand most of the day and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds and pushing up to 400 pounds.

You will operate washers and dryers, add chemicals, inspect for damage, and maintain organized records while folding and storing items using specialized equipment.

Qualifications

• Physical role requiring standing most of the day
• Strong organizational and time management skills required
• Reading, writing and basic math used for chemical amounts and logging
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull ~400 pounds
• Expect working in areas with high temperatures around equipment

Responsibilities

• Sort laundry by colour, material and soil level
• Inspect items for damage or stains and record exceptions
• Operate washers and dryers per capacity and manufacturer guidelines
• Add chemicals in correct quantities for each cycle
• Fold and store clean linen using linen feeder, folders and ironing machines
