Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Sufficient communication with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• High dusting around rooms, surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing and spot cleaning of surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning with germicidal solutions and proper toilet sanitation.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Floor dusting and vacuuming, cleaning under furniture.
• Grounds care and outdoor area spot cleaning.
• Clean public common areas and food court surfaces.
• Floor sanitizing and final room inspection for orderliness.
• Customer relations and quiet, courteous service.
