Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. seeks a dedicated janitorial professional to perform a variety of cleaning tasks in assigned facilities to keep them clean, sanitary, and orderly.

Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and maintaining public common areas and food court spaces.

Candidates should follow safety practices, use germicidal solutions, and work with discretion, reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing surfaces below shoulder height and removing fingerprints.
• Bathroom cleaning including toilet areas and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming, including under furniture.
• Grounds care: outdoor cleaning and trash patrols.
• Public common areas: dust moping, glass cleaning and cobweb removal.
• Food court: cleaning, trash removal and tray washing.
• Floor sanitizing and room final inspection.
• Customer relations: be courteous and report issues to supervisor.
