Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in HIT/HIM or related field.
• Two years of HIM/medical records experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, medical terminology, and EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete electronic and paper medical records.
• Process record requests and authorizations in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Update information in EHR and other systems accurately.
• Support audits and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, IT, and clinical teams to improve data accuracy.
