Job summary

New Creation Labels & Packaging, based in Marietta, GA, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a small team and maintain accurate financial records. The role is primarily onsite with flexibility for occasional remote work as needed, supporting day-to-day financial operations and collaborating with a close-knit staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
• Experience preparing financial statements preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Prepare invoices and process payments
• Maintain the general ledger and financial records
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
• Prepare tax-related documentation and assist with tax filings
