LJK INVESTIGATIONS LLC is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. You will maintain accurate financial records, verify transactions, and bring books to trial balance while ensuring compliance with GAAP and tax requirements.

The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in accounting, hands-on experience with Excel and QuickBooks, and strong analytical and communication skills to support budgeting and vendor cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
• Prepare trial balance
• Analyze budgets and other financial information
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Complete required tax forms
