Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to provide day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting support for multiple clients.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, recording transactions, and performing reconciliations with a strong eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting knowledge, experience with reconciliations, A/P and A/R, and proficient communication to collaborate with clients and internal staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with bank and account reconciliations
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients and team members

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date financial records
• Record and categorize transactions
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare general ledger entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports (balance sheets, P&L)
• Communicate with clients regarding information gaps and discrepancies
• Support payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations
