PharMerica in Vancouver, WA invites experienced Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians to join a closed-door, non-retail team supporting long-term care communities. You will accurately enter orders, verify details, and ensure timely, safe patient care under pharmacist supervision.

The role emphasizes attention to detail in a fast-paced setting with a Monday–Friday schedule; training begins with a 9:30am–6:00pm window and progresses to 11:00am–8:00pm.

Competenze

• Washington Pharmacy Technician License – REQUIRED.
• PTCB Certification; 6 months to obtain certification with coaching.
• High School diploma or equivalent is expected.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.

Mansioni

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with high accuracy.
• Conduct basic drug calculations and dosage conversions.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials and follow up in POS systems.
• Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure processing compliance.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims and generate management reports.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with policies.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks as directed.
