Qualifications
- 1 year of Pharmacy Technician/ Pharmacy Assistant experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
- Experience with pharmacy terminology and data entry.
Responsibilities
- Enter and verify medication orders with high accuracy.
- Perform basic drug calculations and conversions.
- Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials; follow up in POS systems.
- Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure compliance.
- Track unpaid or delayed claims and generate reports for management.
- Provide excellent customer service in line with company policies.
- Assist with medication preparation under Pharmacist supervision.
- Support additional pharmacy tasks as directed by management.
