Qualifications

• Washington Pharmacy Technician license – REQUIRED.
• PTCB certification within 6 months with coaching provided.
• Pharmacy experience and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.
• Detail oriented; team player and effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify medication orders with high accuracy.
• Perform basic drug calculations and conversions.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials in POS systems.
• Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure compliance.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims and generate reports for management.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with company policies.
• Assist with medication preparation under Pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks as directed by management.
