Fifth Third Bank in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist to determine due diligence and coordinate the preparation of commercial loan documentation. You will review approvals, ensure compliance with terms, and coordinate with attorneys, title companies, and internal partners to meet closing schedules.

The role requires due diligence experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple loans while adhering to risk and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience with due diligence, loan documentation, or related work.
• Commercial loan experience preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of loan closing processes and vendor documents.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, review and analyze draft and final credit approvals and determine due diligence requirements.
• Interpret loan approvals to determine borrower, collateral, guarantor and loan requirements.
• Coordinate closing timelines with internal teams and external counsel.
• Ensure documentation aligns with credit approval and contract terms.
• Identify and resolve deficiencies; escalate as needed.
• Monitor workload and track loans in process to meet closing dates.
