Qualifications

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable/Receivable and general accounting.
• Strong problem-solving, investigative, analytical and meticulous thinking for documentation and data analysis.
• High level of computer literacy including Excel and Outlook; able to learn internal systems.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented with good follow-up and time management.
• Strong communication and active listening with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Review documents for completeness (or omissions) and accuracy.
• Initiate payments and review expenses through collection, processing, verification, and reconciling invoices.
• Assess documentation compliance with applicable policies to assure data quality.
• Communicate with stakeholders to obtain information and clarify data on invoices, tax documents, and contracts.
• Enter pertinent data into applicable enterprise systems.
• Manually correct data to align across systems.
• Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets of invoices received, processed, paid.
• Follow up on unclaimed funds as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer, client, and organizational information.
• Adapt to changing pace and assist with other projects as needed.
