Job summary

Blackstone Country Club in Peoria, AZ, is seeking a Full-Time Pastry Cook to join our culinary team and craft high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods for daily dining, banquets, and events. The ideal candidate is passionate about pastry, with strong presentation and teamwork.

As part of Troon, you will work with the Executive Chef and staff in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment, maintaining food safety standards and a clean, organized kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous pastry, baking, restaurant, hotel, or culinary experience preferred.
• Culinary or pastry training is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Reliable, professional, and team oriented.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, pies, breads, and other baked goods.
• Follow recipes and production standards to ensure consistent quality.
• Assist with dessert preparation for banquets, member events, and private functions.
• Decorate, plate, and present desserts with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and finished products.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team.
• Help minimize food waste and maintain proper inventory levels.
