Job summary

Blackstone Country Club is seeking a full-time Pastry Cook in Peoria, AZ to join our culinary team. The candidate will prepare pastries, desserts, and baked goods for daily service, banquets, and private events while upholding presentation and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a passion for pastry, works well in a team, and can follow recipes in a fast-paced kitchen. Opportunities for growth exist within Troon’s global hospitality platform.

Qualifications

• Previous pastry, baking, restaurant, hotel, or culinary experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Reliable, professional, and team oriented.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and production standards to ensure consistent quality.
• Assist with dessert preparation for banquets, member events, and private functions.
• Decorate, plate, and present desserts with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and finished products.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team.
• Help minimize food waste and maintain proper inventory levels.
