Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is seeking a Dessert Finisher/Barista to add finishing touches to our renowned cheesecakes and desserts. You will glaze fruits, whip cream, and craft espresso drinks while supporting front-of-house operations to elevate guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring restaurant or barista experience, knowledge of food safety, and a positive, flexible attitude to thrive in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, barista, or food service preferred.
• Familiarity with beverage preparation and food handling.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Able to work in a high-volume environment.
• Dependable, punctual with consistent work habits.
• Team player with a positive workplace attitude.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Plate and finish desserts with accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent presentation.
• Operate an espresso machine to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages.
• Follow instructions while upholding food safety and handling standards, with awareness of allergies.
• Label, date, and rotate products using FIFO practices.
• Work with speed and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas.
• Complete station setup and breakdown, including stocking and closing tasks.
• Support teamwork through clear communication and a positive attitude.
• Deliver exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
