Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Laguna Hills to provide Tier 2 helpdesk support for PC hardware, software, and network issues. You will troubleshoot requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system and communicate technical solutions in clear terms.

You will build and maintain desktops, peripherals, and related infrastructure, document progress for leadership, and help migrate to current Windows platforms while meeting service levels and departmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of desktop support experience.
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware and networks (LAN/WAN).
• Experience with Microsoft Operating System software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for end-user support.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and installs PCs and peripherals per standards.
• Advise colleagues on incidents and document issues clearly.
• Maintain PCs, networks, telephony endpoints with routine maintenance.
• Log and resolve software or network problems.
• Create and share progress reports with leadership.
• Ensure work meets service levels and guidelines.
• Document achievements daily in ticketing systems.
