Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a 2nd shift contract role in Olive Branch, MS. Work hours are 2:30pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday, fully onsite. You will support PCs, printers, and RF devices used by Global Logistics associates, handle trouble calls, and assist with ongoing device projects.

Preferred candidates troubleshoot Outlook, Office apps, Word, Excel, and have basic networking knowledge, plus ServiceNow ticketing experience. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting PCs, printers, and RF devices in a corporate environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot Outlook/Office/Word/Excel and user tickets.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day trouble calls and user requests onsite in Olive Branch, MS.
• Support PCs, printers, and RF devices including wireless connectivity.

Candidate must work onsite in Olive Branch, MS.

Candidate must have a cell phone for receiving calls from Desktop lead or Manager regarding high priority tickets.

A TEKsystems client in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Desktop Support Technician resource to assist in the support of PC's, Printer's and RF devices used by Global Logistics associates.

Support can consist of day to day trouble calls or user requests, supporting on-going projects related to these types of devices and routine device maintenance / upkeep.

The potential candidate must be reasonably adept in troubleshooting problems with some or all these types of devices, communicating and follow-up with end users of various levels within the organization, along with providing excellent customer service.

• Microsoft Office 365/Windows 11
• Laser Jet Printers
• Supporting Zebra Label Printers
• RF (Radio Frequency) Devices (this candidate needs experience with Wireless Network Connectivity)
• Candidate will be troubleshooting the following: Outlook / Microsoft Office / Word / Excel
• This candidate will need basic Networking skills in order to effectively communicate with the Network Engineer
• ServiceNow Ticketing System

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
