Job Description

Crye-Leike Information Technology is seeking a full-time Desktop Support Technician in Memphis, TN. This position requires a candidate to work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties

• Install hardware and peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user premises.
• Install software on corporate machines.
• Respond to client inquiries, diagnose hardware, software, and operator problems.
• Instruct users in equipment and software use.
• Perform remedial actions to resolve issues.
• Provide updates and status reports to managers and users via various communication channels.
• Assist clients with connecting to wired/wireless networks on personal devices.
• Maintain service records of work performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on experience with PC hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Experience with LAN/WAN troubleshooting and telephone systems is required.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• Experience with ShoreTel/Mitel telecommunications systems is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Applicants will be tested for proficiency.
