Yoh is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for an onsite, contract-to-hire role in Irving, TX. You will address face-to-face user issues, configure Windows environments, support O365/AD, and maintain service center systems with a strong focus on customer service.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of domain environment experience, AD administration, AV setup, and solid ticketing skills to resolve technical inquiries efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and repairing computers in a domain environment.
• Experience with Windows and Apple computers.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office products including O365/Active Directory.
• Active Directory administration experience.
• Experience with Help Desk ticketing systems.
• Installation and support of video conferencing equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Onsite Irving, TX work location.

Responsibilities

Desktop Support Specialist

Contract to hire

Irving, TX (Onsite)

Seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support and maintain all aspects of the Service Center's systems and employees. This will include but not be limited to face-to-face interaction with users, hardware and software tasks, onsite end-user support, and configuration support of Windows operating systems. The successful candidate will display excellent customer service skills and quick decision making to identify and resolve technical inquiries as well as perform various technical and support tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and repairing computers and applications in a domain environment
• Possess a passion for providing excellent customer service
• Knowledge of installing, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Windows and Apple computers.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office products including O365/Active Directory.
• Active Directory administration experience.
• Working knowledge of anti-virus, anti-spam applications.
• Experience working with Help Desk ticketing systems.
• Installation and support of video conferencing (AV) equipment.
• Eagerness and ability to learn other hardware and software as they become pertinent to the business needs.
• Proven troubleshooting skills.
• Management and support of VPN access accounts.
• Basic understanding of networking.
• Extensive knowledge of computer applications and conceptually, how they work.
• Organizational skills sufficient to ensure all calls are logged and follow-up is complete.
• Ability to answer telephones and provide courteous, prompt and efficient customer service.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks and prioritize them to meet specific deadlines.
• Confidence to interact with a wide range of people from clerical staff, network specialists, developers, senior management, and vendors
• Physical qualifications required to perform the job function include the ability to lift 20 lbs. as well as to sit for long periods of time.
• Proficiency to read, write and communicate orally the English language, especially IT technical terms and concepts.
• Advanced math skills including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios, discounts/multipliers and probabilities.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Competence to set up and operate a personal computer, printers and external computer peripherals.
